My partner child is 3years old; I made him a personalized activity book to help him write his name, learn colors, draw, ect. He was very excited about it when I told him that was the book he was going to read today but, when we started to look at the book and read it; he took total control and flipped through the pages drawing all over it. I wanted to stop him but, I didn’t because I made the book for him and if he wants to do that then it’s up to him. What do you think?

During circle time my child who is only three sometimes wonders away from the circle. As long as he doesn’t distract other children or circle time I just let him do so. He’s too young to sit and sing songs; especially if the attention is not on him all the time. Am I doing the best thing for him?
